Thanksgiving is over

If you are like me you ate to much. You wish that you had wore your sweats instead of jeans to the feast.
Oh turkey, me so sleepy after enjoying you at a tasty meal.
I ate and ate and then ate some more, if we weren't at our friends I would of just laid down on the floor.
Now its all over the stuffing is done. How many plates, to many more than one.
I hope you all had a great Turkey day and have a great weekend, doing whatever it is you wish to do. Stomach pump anyone? Cheers.

Thanksgiving is Tomorrow

Being 1300 miles away from your family is tuff at the holidays. But my husband and I have each other. Luckly this year we also have good friends. We got an invite to another families dinner. And an invite to join others for dessert.
I'm glad why? Well partly because I don't have to cook. No worries about cooking a turkey breast for two. Not wondering is it done, is it dry, is it leather?
No baking any pies wondering is that to much cinnamon, not enough or wait did I add cinnamon?
No worries about mashpotatoes that would be more suited for gluing together my crafts that to eat.
What am I thankful for this Thanksgiving, no worries, until Black Friday, when I better bust my butt and get some products done! Ahhhhhhh Worried!

How many days

Ok today I blew off working on projects yet again. The glass of wine and the sofa were calling me when I got home.
This weekend, I'm kicking it into high gear, seriously. I need to get the rest of my stuff cranked out.
I think I will work on my banner, but you never know. I might go back to the sofa. Oh sofa why do you call my name. Why do you know my name?

17 or 18?

Ugh just wrote a whole blog and lost it. Grrrr
OK have to get ready for the 8-5 world, so quickly, I'm doing ok on getting ready for the show on Dec. 8th. But I could be doing better. Need to finish more purses, buy hole punch (lost mine in the move), and finish banner.

25 days

At home I'm working on making a banner for my booth. My camera has died so I hope to buy a new one this week. Well I'm hoping hubby will buy me a new one this week.
My goal for this week is to have half of the purses I have in stock burned, and all the frames I have in stock burned. We will see how that goes.
I got about 1/3 of the promo magnets I need to make just to send to people that I said I would done last night. Plus I need to make

26 days till my first show

OK so now its 26 days till my first show. Today I managed to start about 30 promo magnets, which aren't even for my show, they are for other to hand out at their shows. And I punched out all of the rest of the images for these magnets.
I did wood burn two of the tree stands that I'm working on to display jewelry, which I still have to make.
I ordered ball chain for some of the jewelry I'm gonna try to get done. I printed the stickers for the Esty goodie bags, actually did that yesterday.

Ok I totally blew off working on anything today to meet a new friend. JDStar. She is really cool. We went to lunch and did some shopping.
Now I know tomorrow will be 26 days to the show and I'm gonna have to kick some butt to get some stuff done, kick my own butt that is.
Ah the joys of procrastination!

I mean 28 days to go. Well 28 days till my first show. Nervous, check. Busy, check. Behind, check.
Last night I was able to pick up little medicine measuring cups to use with mixing resin. So that will be my project this weekend. I'm working on coke bottle caps with one of my logos in it to make them into magnets, did I already write this. Deja Vu.
Ok anyway. I've also decided that once a week I will start doing a feature on a different Etsy artist/crafter. Cause my plate is full, but lets just pill it high! I'm not scared. :)

Its 29 days till I do my first Craft Show. I'm nervous and busy. Sketched out a couple of new frames last night. Cupcakes and swirls.
I'm lucky that I found another person of Etsy, that also lives in Oklahoma that is going to share the booth with me.
I have some major stuff to finish before then. I'm working on magnets with one of my logos on them. Some other crafters are going to hand them out with my card at shows they are doing.
I'm making Etsy Goodie Bags, I have a few people that are going to send me their cards and promo items to put in bags to give out when I do my show.
Yesterday my friend Damon bought me a folding banquet table, on sale at Target.
I'm still debating colors for the table clothes. I need to get or make some sort of apron for pens, cash and what not.
I'm pretty nerous. I will post more as I get more completed. I will post pictures too.

Finally some new stuff done

Finally I finished 3 purses to put up at my Etsy shop. Let me know what you think. This weekend is a major cleaning, sorting and organizing of my studio. Hope to be more productive in the end. Right now its just making me tired. :)

HALLOWEENS DEAD

SO HALLOWEEN IS DEAD, UNTIL IT RISES AGAIN NEXT YEAR. I MUST SAY IT WENT FAST. THE DOOR BELL RANG AND RANG, MY DOG BARKED AND BARKED. MY HUSBAND AND I HAD TO DECIEDE WHO'S TURN IT WAS. WE BOTH COULDN'T WAIT TO SEE THE KIDS COSTUMES AND HERE THEM SCREEM. SOME KIDS CAME BACK, NOT FOR MORE CANDY BUT TO SEE THE SCAREST HOUSE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. WITH ABOUT 15 HEAD STONES, BONES ALL OVER OUR CEMETARY, BIG SPIDERS, BARBWIRE, AND OUR HEADS OFF HARRY HIDING BEHIND A PILLAR. JUST WAITING FOR THE KIDDIES, SO HE COULD TALK A BIT AND PULL OFF HIS HEAD. SOME KIDS RAN, SOME KIDS SCREAMED, SOME KIDS SAID, MY MOM WOULDN' GET ME ONE OF THOSE AT THE STORE. LOL ALL IN ALL WE HANDED OUT OVER 100 INDIVIDUAL BAGS OF CANDY THAT I MADE, APPARENTLY I LOST MY MIND THE DAY THAT IDEA CAME UP.
SO AGAIN HALLOWEEN DIES, ONLY TO COME BACK MORE HORRIFIC AND SCARY NEXT YEAR.
BEWARE!!!
